What a great idea! I would add ANYTHING by Gary or Anne Marie Ezzo, because
the cornerstone of GFI's philosophy is the schedule from birth. I am now
having the delightful chore (not) of reviewing AME's Birth By Design, a
"Christian Childbirth Education" course, in which GFI's medical
misinformation is perpetuated. Just two gems for your reading pleasure:

"The feeding philosophy outlined in Preparation for Parenting sets thirty
minutes (fifteen minutes at each breast) as the longest amount of time that
the baby should be at the breasts, assuming proper technique has been used
for feeding. (Beyond that, the breasts become a pacifier for the baby.)
With proper technique, a healthy baby willl empty a breast within five
minutes." p. 138

Regarding prolonged lactation or breastfeeding (as a contraceptive):

"This is not an effective method of conception control for the couple who
feeds their baby according to a schedule, which is a wise practice that
should not be abandoned in favor of inferior conception-control practice."
p. 178

Back to the trenches,
