Most of the babies at our hospital are supplemented. Could be mother's
choice, dr's choice or nurse's choice. We use free bottles and nipples
from Similac. They send us some "knock-off" NUK-type nipples, but they
are fast flow. I have been campaigning for : a)less supplementing of
course, but b) if we must supplement with a bottle to do so with a
slow-flow, wide based nipples. I have heard about Evenflo's "Comfi" or
"Ultra" nipple. What do you all recommend, and what are your resources?
This is so I can go to my nurse manager with something besides my
druthers.
Thanx ahead of time,
Cheryl Muller RNC IBCLC
