The statement that someone made about the Irish believing that there was
little difference between artifical infant formula and breastmilk sparked of
a thought that I had not noticed before. Why is it that we as adults would
never dream of substituting a multivitamin pill for a balanced diet of
fresh, whole foods and nor would we say that pills resemble the nutritional
package in fresh, unprocessed foods? (though some people do, only to end up
with defiencies and illnesses), and, yet so many look at artificial infant
formula and compare it to unprocessed, whole fresh produce of the lactating
breast that has feed and nutured babies for millions of years and say that
there is little difference? Humanity's inability to reason and be consistant
in its reasoning is very puzzling.
