Since this supplement is making her so uncomfortable, as well as her baby,
is it really doing her any good? Can she eliminate it or reduce the dose?

Can she continue to treat her thyroid problems with thyroid supplement
alone, as this has been done by many moms, who have then had breastfeeding
success?

What is the need for sudden, abrupt weaning in any case?

i wanted to give you an update on the pregnenolone/DHEA supplement i'm
taking and it's possible effects on Evie's sleep. i spoke with her
pediatrician late friday after talking with you, and he said of all the
meds i'm taking that would be the likely culprit (DHEA is a big energy
booster and can make a "normal" person fidgety and irritable). he
proposed i stop taking it for a week, see if anything improves, and if
so, start taking it again to verify it's the meds and not a coincidence.

results: i stopped, things returned to normal, i started again monday
and last night and today have sucked. so i won't take it again until i
have a chance to discuss weaning with you. those 2 weeks i was on it was
almost heavenly. i slept well and actually woke up refreshed. it made a
huge difference in my mood and ability to get outside and be active with
Evelyn.=20

i'm not sure if i'm strong enough to cut her off cold turkey, so i was
curious about my options and your opinion. you mentioned a supplement to
stop lactation? should i call you or would you like to meet for coffee
to talk? AND, is this type of information free or considered a paid
consultation? i don't want to take advantage of you or your knowledge!
