IF it's connected to an increased rate of SIDS - don't you think we should be proactive in preventing that to ever happen. We should all be calling MJ and expressing concern for this marketing technique. Thickening formula is a valid medical procedure for certain babies, which is why Enfamil AR has a place in the market - Rest Full, in my opinion, does not have the same place.

I know there are some MJ reps on this listserve, I hope they're listening.

Also, it has been shown that babies that sleep for long periods of time due to a deeper sleep are at greater risk for SIDS. It will be interesting to see if this formula will be connected to an increased rate of SIDS....

It's Enfamil AR with a different marketing label!!! It is retail only.
If they come in to our hospital, we get to explain why we are using Enfamil AR. I am totally in agreement with your comments.

So, it makes them feel artificially full? Don't infants wake at night in response to hunger? If they're not being fed at night won't they miss out on calories? I suppose they'll take in more kcal during they day if they're good regulators, but still it seems counter intuitive to child development and feeding.
