Someone posted a message last week questioning the need to try to be
circumspect about which brand of something we were talking about. I really
HATE all this M____ business and agree with the previous person who said it
must drive people from countries outside the US crazy (I'm in Canada and
have access to most products, but it still bothers me). On CompuServe we
never worried about this and I really don't see the problem here. If someone
was openly criticizing a particular brand, I can see the company might have
some ammunition, but if I'm simply presenting a case study, it's important
that the type of gadget/aid be mentioned. Kathleen and Kathleen--please
illuminate for me! The legal atmosphere in the US is indeed a poisoned one
if this is the result!
