I have had quick and easy results with mother hand expressing for 2-5 minutes before feedings. When the milk changes from a spray to a drip, offer the breast to baby.  Remove baby from the breast with the first signs of gagging, choking, or having difficulty with the flow. 1.5 hours for 10 minutes of nursing?  This is way too much time and work and many mothers would not sustain this for very long.   Overactive MER often occurs with over supply.  Pumping 50 ml over 15 min is not over supply.  I am puzzled.
