Hello Jack and Lactnet--
the pharmacist from our one local compounding pharmacy phoned me this
morning, saying that she has only enough bactroban ointment to make 4 more
prescriptions of APNO. she says this is because of a national shortage of
bactroban ointment, so I imagine this will be a relevant question for many
of those on LActnet. She does have Bactroban cream, and would like to know
if this can be substituted for the ointment. she also says that the
clotrimazole they are using currently is a cream, and I wonder whether this
is OK also. Please respond to me personally as well as posting the list
(chronically too busy to read them all)
Thanks Jack--
