Thanks for the information on the laws pertaining to nurses. So... if as an
RN, which I am, a pt ask me if it is ok to take cold medicine during
pregnancy, and in my job as a antepartum/L&D/etc nurse, I am expected to tell
her a few that I KNOW to be safe, is this prescribing? If we are using
herbs, reviewed in medical books such as Hale's, is this any different?
Mom's expect us to KNOW the answers to these type things. Isn't withholding
information on something that is probably going to help worse than giving her
information?
So..for those that agree we can recommend--What about selling it in our
office? If the hospital has a store that carries Tylenol (acetaminophen),
how different is this?
