I am sorry the court ruled as it did. I wonder at the hypocracy of the the
system. I don't think this is the place to discuss abortion, but only to
shed light on this case.  If this mother wanted to have an abortion because
she was HIV positive, or for any reason, nobody would say a word, even
though the risk of the baby's getting HIV infected are, according to the
studies that determined this case only about 14% if she bottle feeds, and
maybe only 5 or 6% if she does the AZT protocol. Yet if the mother wants to
breastfeed, and that *may* increase the baby's risk of getting HIV by 14%,
the state takes away her baby. Even though even with breastfeeding 70% of
babies do *not* pick up the virus.
