We also don't have any restrictions about what type of phone a mom has. We get the contact info of two friends/family members on their contrat, too. We especially encourage any mom to provide her milk for her baby if it is in the NICU, if there are not contraindications. We let moms know when they sign their contract that we will agressively pursue our pumps' returns. Our goal is to contact moms with pumps on a monthly basis until they return the pumps. However, if we feel the loan is riskier than usual, we try to maintain more frequent contact and communication. Oh, as peer counselors we give home visits so we'd be glad to pick the pump up from a home if the mother cannot return it because of transportation problems.
