I have recently returned from Greece working with refugees. There is an
urgent need for IBCLCs, particularly those experienced with experience in a
variety of clinical and community settings. 

 

There are dozens of excellent groups working on the ground where your help
would be powerful and supported.

 

Two are a). Health Point (which is now in Northern Greece not Lesvos)

The Greek La Leche League Leaders are doing a huge amount of work but this
situation needs extra hands, especially knowledgeable, experienced ones. 

 

Greece is safe, the refugees are desperate and appreciative. 

 

There is no glory, there is no funding, there is just the knowledge you have
made a significant difference in the lives of some of the most needy.
Flexibility is required and the ability to focus on the need and not the
living conditions.
