You want to get your hands on "The Impact of Birthing Practices on BF: 
Protecting the Mother Baby Continuum" by Mary Kroeger and Linda Smith.  Has 
all the data you need.  It is rather hair-raising to read in one setting, 
and you may be haunted by your own birth choices ("if only I knew ....") .  
But this is essential reading for the IBCLC in the hospital setting.
