I know you want us to be optimistic, Barbara, but this very issue
(hand washing) is still alive and well in the UK. Doctors still don't
wash their hands, according to recent research, and this is one of
the reasons why many UK hospitals have a continual struggle against
infection with the MRSA bug, which causes a massive number of deaths
every year.
