Dear friends,

A fellow LLLL asked if anyone has ever heard of the milk in mother of a 3 month old baby suddenly tasting and smelling like sulphur. Mom is pumping and bottlefeeding due to other causes since long before this change. Method of pumping or expressing does not influence taste or smell. Mom reports no medication use and no recent or accute mastitis. Mom is big-breasted. Baby refuses the milk, so she is feeding ABM temporarily, tho she intended 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding/breast-milk-feeding.
