Hi. I have a question....someone asked me about an article re: toxins in
breastmilk from American Baby ..a recent issue.

> It is titled, "Toxins in your milk". It states that certain
> environmental contaminants are stored in a mother's body fat and end up
> in her milk and this erodes the benefits of breastfeeding.

The mom is concerned with having her nails done, and that this influence,
along with pumping gasoline, and eating fish, will make her milk unfit for
human consumption, and that it will make formula seem like the best choice.
Has anyone read this article, and is there a recent site on environmental
toxins and breastfeeding that can reliably and professionally refute this?

Thanks. Kathleen
