I have used these pads, even recently for a special occassion only. When I 
did wear them to work one day awhile ago for fear of leaking during a 
meeting I had and would not be able to pump for awhile I did get a plugged 
duct which I had not had since my son was very young (like 3 months). I 
was shocked, he was 18 months so my supply is much less than a year prior.

I agree, the breast should be allowed to breath for moisture sake and leak 
for relief or problems can occur. Loved them for the wedding, hated them 
for a whole day...i fed during the wedding to prevent getting too full 
since we were there for awhile...just my .02
