When breastfeeding initiation rates are over 90%, I 'believe' that the
above generalization doesn't apply. However that is just supposition.
Certainly our birth rate locally has continued to fall as our breastfeeding
rates have risen. Does anyone know what has happened in places like Norway
and Sweden which have had higher than US breastfeeding rates for some time
and are 'developed' countries?
