Kathy, it's a gin and tonic, but it's the tonic, not the gin.  Gin is
made from some alcohol with juniper berries.   I suppose there are
people who drink plain tonic water, other than just my 7 yo daughter.
 I can't imagine there would be much of an issue with the quinine in
tonic, unless you were very sensitive to it or drank gallons.
