Just yesterday i ran across this topic in a 2002 Mothering Magazine article
written by Dr Chris Hafner-Eaton (ibclc). She said "Olive Oil cantains linoleic
acids, which are antifungal and may cut off the yeast's oxygen supply".

I say "hmmm???" I know that olive oil is touted for many health care cures but
i have no experience with this.

Vinegar diluted in water works very well. Yeast do not like an acidic
environment.
