if you have emailed privately to me and I have not yet replied, please write again next week.

I am using a puter at our local library as we have had no electricity since Monday when a tree in our front yard was struck by lightening and fell on a power line. 35,000 are currently without power and we are low on the list :( Because we have well-water we cannot run the (electrically operated) pump, so we have no water as well as no power. We really don;t have much hope of reconnection to the grid before Friday...

norma in Big Flats, NY, where yet more storms are expected.
