There are new IBCLCs, but they can't afford to go to the ILCA 
conference, which keeps getting more expensive. If we want to see 
younger faces (those who are not making much money in practice yet) we 
need to have some scholarship funds available, and have more clinical 
content that new (and experienced) LCs will find valuable enough to use 
scarce resources on.
