Hi all, Judy Ritchie in particular,
Judy, we do appreciate your ON topic posts, so keep 'em coming!
The post on thimerosal which admittedly had 'off topic' in the subject line,
was too far off topic for Lactnet. The word breastfeeding, or even
'feeding' does not appear in it anywhere. Also, approximately half the
digest, 225 of 556 lines, consisted of this one off topic message.
So, to all of you: if you have something you think some of the other
subscribers might like to know about but it is off topic for this list, you
may send a short note to Lactnet saying 'I have some info on a report about
thimerosal in vaccines (for example), which is off topic for Lactnet.
Anyone interested may contact me off the list.' Period. Then you have to
be ready to send e-mails to the people who ask for it. From experience I
can say this is not an insurmountable task.
Also, attachments are never sent on Lactnet. What consenting adults do off
the list is not of concern to the listmothers, you may exchange attachments
as much as your hearts desire.
on behalf of the listmothers
