Hi, Doula Mary here,
Some moms do indeed have bright red bleeding still at four weeks, sometimes
heavy at times. Most though, have had their bleeding change, it was light in
color and or amount and it goes back to red bleeding. This is natures way of
telling the mom to slow down. The concern about this case is she has
"always" had this type of bleeding AND a very low milk supply. She needs to
seen today!
