It used to be called Syntocinon in the US.  NOt sure if it is still made or must be compounded. I havent used it in a long while as it is expensive (to compound), not always covered by insurance,  and so difficult to get dr to order it.  It was great for better letdowns when pumping, especially forlong term pumping for  preemies.

Can any of you wise ones help me?  I have no experience with oxytocin nasal

spray but I have heard about it here on Lactnet.  What is this official name

of this for prescription purposes and how can it be obtained?







What are it's uses (lactating and non-lactating)?
