another nice breastfeeding story

Our ambulance crew was called out to bring a patient from another
community to town last night. We transported the patient and her
daughter and grandson came also as support people. This young mum was
lovely, translating when necessary and holding her (around 11 month
old) baby, who spent all the time in his mothers arms, breastfeeding
frequently and blissfully. Nobody could deny that this was
breastfeeding at its most normal and natural. Baby was beautiful and
very well nourished! This confident young mum didn't hide or worry,
just slipped her breast in his mouth whenever he wanted and continued
to walk around, or sit and chat to us while we cared for her mum. Now
that's one girl who will never need my services as an IBCLC!

cheers,
Querida
