I took my last Spanish class in 1970 and have done some counseling in
Spanish within the last couple of years. (I did have 5 years of Spanish.)

To my surprise, the counseling has gone fine. I had a mom with sore nipples,
infant slow weight gain - a fairly straightforward session, as you can
imagine. My favorite memory of this is the mom saying to her sister, "How
come when the doctor talks about it, it's so complicated, but when she says
it, it's all so simple?"
Probably because my main words were "la boca GRANDE" (big mouth) while I
demonstrated with MY big mouth!
