Hi Ruth,

We have right around 4000 deliveries per year and we have 9 pumps for our
postpartum unit. Honestly, that works out fine because we have a 60 bed
Level III NICU that has 46 pumps---one for each patient (baby) room and two
separate "pumping rooms"! It's great---this is something that has just
happened over the last few years. It keeps our postpartum moms in the NICU
with their babies---they don't have to come trekking back to pump---they
just pump at their baby's bedside.
