Since I never developed the habit of eating these breakfast 'foods' I have
merely noted that Nestle seemed to have taken over the family of brands to
which Cheerios belong, a couple of years ago.  We have all those products on
the shelves here but they are in one of the several aisles I skip because
that stuff to me just looks about as edible as the brightly colored plastic
things to hang on your toilet bowl so they exude artificial fragrance with
every flush.  (Apologies if my food or cleansing product snobbery offends
anyone.)  But yes, it is definitely the trademarked brand Cheerios that are
made by Nestle.

The good news is that almost nothing made by Nestle can't be made cheaper
and better using fresh ingredients, or bought from someone else.  It also
can be an aid in weight loss diets.  As the list of things one can buy
without supporting Nestle grows shorter and shorter, it's easier to slim
down.
