Morgan and Rachel are RIGHT ON. THANK YOU BOTH!

Comparing breastfeeding and formula draws us into the trap of discussing
"equivalency," which is a specific strategy used to market artificial
feeding products. (it's the "coke or pepsi" argument). Don't go there. 

Breastfeeding is a biologic process involving two people. We don't discuss
the "advantages" of a mother delivering her placenta after birth. Mothers
don't have a choice whether or not to lactate after giving birth - their
breasts are going to make milk. 

If she can gestate, she will lactate.
