My son (24) and his girl friend are into SCA, the Society for Creative
Anachronism. They practice archery and jousting and sing madrigals, and have
a great time.
I was talking to Eliz (the g/f) on the phone about making mediaeval garb for
the upcoming LLLICf banquet which has a Renaissance theme this year. Dan was
on the other phone, and he piped in with, *Of course everything has to open
down the front so the women can nurse!* Then he went on to talk about how
all the Ren Faire participants breastfeed, because it is *chronologically
correct.* Gotta love 'em!
