Dear Friends,

So, I'm confused. Look at the last line--protective effect is early weaning and present breastfeeding? Is it a translation issue or am I reading this wrong?

Rev Invest Clin. 2002 Mar-Apr;54(2):125-32. Risk factors associated with bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age

"CONCLUSIONS: Factors that increase the risk of bronchiolitis are a history of prematurity, and family history of bronchial asthma. Factors that have a protective effect are early weaning, and present-day breast-feeding."
