What I have got to ask is *why* does it seem that these fathers want to make
their toddlers miserable? I understand that they want a chance to "bond"
with their young children, but why do they insist on making it so traumatic
for the child? Why does it have to include bedtimes? Why do the courts put
so much emphasis on specific quantities of time without regard to that
particular child's normal development? To me, it seems extremely selfish on
the part of those fathers that they want to be able to say they have
overnights or other long outings just to be able to do them. Why do these
dads want to set themselves and their toddlers up for such difficult
bedtimes? Whew, what a rant.
