Hello Netters!
Wanted to tell you all about a wonderful place for moms!  This store is
everything an expectant or breastfeeding mom could want!  This Store has
maternity clothes and books about pregnancy,  it also has nusrsing shirts (at
reasonable $ I might add)  and things a BF mom might need or want.  They have
a room in the back for Moms to nurse their babies if they want privacy, or
the moms can nurse on a nice bench in a corner of the store.  Under the bench
is a little cupboard that has toys kids can play with (my Ben has had a lot
of fun with those toys, and has a few meals on the bench!).  My friend Karen
Evon, IBCLC and her friend own the store and guess what else?  They also do
consultations!!  They rent out breast pumps!  They have been sooooooo busy!
 They keep running out of pumps, and have had to hire extra help to have time
for consultations!   Talk about a neat idea!  Now, finally, there is a place
where nursing moms are welcome!!

Won't believe what I just saw on my local news!  They did a story on a way to
help ease engorgement.  What was it?  CABBAGE!  They told the community about
the cabbage leaf remedy!  Finally, someone actually did research to see if
the cabbage realyy worked and if it was as good as or better than ice paks.
 The results;  They worked as good as ice paks, but moms liked the cabbage
better because it was cheap, easy, and not as cold!  They also did the
"unthinkable":   they showed a beautiful newborn baby breastfeeding with mom
in the hospital!  There was even a little bit of areola showing!  :o  (watch
out here come the radicals about the indecency of showing a little breast!)
Major Cheers to this news station!!  I'm writing a letter of praise!
Finally, someone has the guts to show nature at work!
