If bf advocates that inform mothers of the detrimental (lessened
protective qualities of bfing, impairment of the process of gut closure
of the infant's gut wall, etc... etc... etc. AND with well respected
journal references to back the cautionary information) effects of using
any ABM are *rightly* called *purists* <-- this word being used in a
previous post from a fellow lactnetter...

What name (*purists* has a derogatory sound to me) may be used for those
breastfeeding advocates that tell mothers (and others - MDs, community
workers etc) that artificially fed infants can become *breastfed* (uh,
even exclusively so) with some hard work and a lot of infant assistance?

Just had to ask. :)
