Hi from Marty O'Donnell in Park Ridge, Illinois! I'm the mother of two sons
(both breastfed as infants/toddlers), an active LLL Leader, the Professional
Liaison Resource Advisor for LLLI's US Western Division, and an abstractor
for Breastfeeding Abstracts. In my previous life I studied immunology and
did basic allergy research in non-IgE-mediated interactions between human
blood cells.

I've enjoyed my first few weeks online and am only one day behind on my
digests. One message to pass on from Betty Crase, the Director of LLLI's
Center for Breastfeeding Information (CBI): anyone may access the CBI's
extensive, up-to-date, computerized database of breastfeeding research
articles for a modest fee. Contact LLLI (1-847-519-7730) or your local
Leader for a brochure, or call Betty or Carol Huotari directly at Ext. 241 or
245 (8AM - 5 PM Central Time).

Looking forward to many happy hours online...

Marty O'Donnell, PhD, LLLL
Park Ridge, Illinois
