Sorry, forgot to sign my last post about BF in Ireland("no rest for the
wicked").To add another two cents worth ,while I'm here,I agree with you
Karen, about the mum with MS.Sounds like she is making enough milk at the
moment. Her supply has probably just settled down abit from when the milk
first came in.Having twins may be overwhelming, but being diagnosed with MS
on top of that must be mind-blowing.I can only imagine what she must be
going through.And....at the risk of being flamed...I think that nipple
confusion is rare(or at least is'nt as common as some think) & that its
more a flow problem(ie.when a baby has had bottles of (usually formula)
before the milk has come in or if its slow to come in & you put baby to the
breast. If the milk is there most seem to just kick up abit of a stink until
they get the hang of it(milk lets down) & then off they go.Of course the
longer the baby is away from the breast, the harder it may be.I think you
have to look at why the baby isnt at the breast in the first place too.
(Sorry guys,I think that was more than two cents worth)!
