With permission of the mother, I am posting about her situation.

Her baby is 15 mths old. No bf problems, everything just
fine....until 3 days ago when she noticed her nipples became hard and
tender. Just the nipples. Not the areola.

Her baby has several teeth, but she thinks this is unrelated because
although she sees teeth marks on her skin, they are well away from
the tender bit, and they are not especially sore; her baby isn't
actually biting.

I asked about soap powders, new underwear, baby taking in new foods
that made her saliva different....but zero.

Ideas?
