Another reason (I think) FPs are so much more teachable about breastfeeding
is their routine opportunities to see BOTH mother and baby and maybe even
with baby at breast.  It is a lot harder to impress the teamwork that makes
for breastfeeding when the doc in question sees only the mother or only the
baby.
