The October 1995 issue of PREVENTION magazine has an article/reader survey on
page 123 titled, Good , Better, Best Breast Protection.  It has a list of 49
breast cancer related questions about self exams, mammograms, diet , family
history, etc. Nowhere does it mention the word lactation or breastfeeding.
Question 33 is "Which of the following has a health professional ever
recommended to you as a potential breast-cancer preventive? Check all that
apply:
It goes on to list 10 items(diet, exercise, quit smoking,) and number 11 is
OTHER(please specify) .  Here the LACTNETTERS could write in Being Breastfed
and Breastfeeding myself!!!!!!!!!!  The results must be postmarked by Nov 1,
1995. The survey results(with specific recommendations for the best breast
protection) will be in the May 1996 issue of Prevention.
