Prilosec inhibits secretion of acid in the stomach, and Domperidone 
increases peristalsis (muscle contractions) of the intestines.  So, no, they 
do not do similar things.

Here in the US, as far as the FDA is concerned, the only possible indication 
for Domperidone is diabetic gastroparesis(bowels do not move well due to 
nerve damage), and then only if you get a special investigational permit 
from them to prescribe it.
