I have a question about this diagnosis. From previous posts it seems that
the condition can cause considerable distress to babies and thus to their
mothers, but I can not find anything on it here or anywhere else that tells
what, if anything, is to be done about it.
I think I may be seeing a case of it, and I want to offer the mother
something besides a latin name. Of course we will be trying position
changes to facilitate breathing and suckling simultaneously, but this baby
appears in every other way to be thriving. Feeding is very stressful, and
that is what mother wants improved. Can anyone point me in the direction of
helpful info?
Thanks
Rachel, in Norway, where I have never heard this diagnosis applied before,
but have seen plenty of babies with varying degrees of laryngeal stridor
