I would agree, Carole, except for the fact I'd emphasise there may
well be a major supply issue - 2 ounces of formula every 3 hours is a
lot of formula for a month old (though we don't know the baby's
weight). This is bound to have had an impact on supply - chances are
the baby is getting very little at the breast now.

Usual measures to turn situation round apply - check/amend position
and attachment, lots of skin to skin contact and co-sleeping,  reduce
supplements in quantity and frequency, feed ad lib day and night.
Expressing would also help.  I think some LCs would prob also suggest
using a supplementer, which may well help, too.
