For birth issues (and early breastfeeding!) I have found the Mother Friendly
Childbirth Initiative http://www.motherfriendly.org/ and the Lamaze Position
Papers http://normalbirth.lamaze.org/institute/positions/default.asp to be
quite useful.

Also, if this would be useful for this particular congressional office, NOW
of California added a platform on birth choice a couple of years ago, but I
don't remember the details.
