Hi Kathy,
Congratulations on your peer counselors being requested to assist with the
WIC moms before D/C!  The peer counselors are doing that here with good
result.  I am not directly involved with that aspect of the peer counselor
program but work with someone who is--Cindy Boylston, IBCLC.  You can call
her and ask about protocol, training, or whatever.  She is an ILCA member,
but call her at work as we are all trying hard to separate work and home
issues (it's an ongoing battle with something as personal as
