A breastfeeding pharmacist with plugged ducts has
this question, based on her experience with
preparing enteral and parenteral feedings, in
which th calcium phosphate is the first substance
to precipitate from the feeds. We have not found
any journal literature on this issue -
Does anyone have any comments or theories on what
substance is actually causing the ducts to be
blocked, and whether a dietary change would help?
She says the material is like grains of sand -

Thanks for anything offered -
