Marilynn said I have been told by the powers that be,
that I would
have to have documented research to support my
position
that babies should only be brought to mom when it is
awake and looking to feed.
==============================

Might it be easier to just push for no separation of
mom and baby at all? Surely there's enough
documentatin for that and the best for the moms all
around. I'd like to see their documentation that the
baby should be nursing while asleep.

Our local hospital has no well baby nursery.
