Hi!

An OB refered a mom to me: mastitis. He says the small nodule found under
the areola on the under side of her breast is a lymph node! I have never
heard of lymph nodes being in that area...I would assume it is a galactocele
or a blocked sinus, or...any ideas?

The redness of the mastitis is in the inner bottom quadrant. I tis her
second bout with it in three weeks, since the birth of her baby.
