Hi Jaye,
I have eczema on my hands and at times it can get oozy looking.  The only 
thing that clears it up is steroid cream/(prescription).  could this mom have 
eczema on her nipples.  There is a good picture of this in the Breastfeeding 
atlas book.  If she cultured out negative on thrush, why is she looking for the 
gentian.  If it is eczema the gentian is gonna burn like crazy.. Tell her to be 
careful.
