I was surprised at the apparent specificity of the official use for dom in the US, as the compounding pharmacist who was my referral source for years has used it for his own reflux issues, etc., for years. Maybe this narrow "ok" use is just the result of too-specific a research result getting pulled out and put to use while other uses were overlooked or thought to be of less value. I thought peristalsis was a continuous (more or less) process from swallow to stool, not just limited to one area. Am I missing something?

PS, Has no one else seen the Newsweek article I posted about earlier? I was surprised to see no responses re it.?
